Genealogy - finding out about where he comes from in terms of people and places. Recent activites have included involvement in the publication of a book of poems and songs by my great-grandfather, Louis McLachlan, called Backwoodsman's Rangitikei. Find out more about it on backwoodsman.org.nz.

Food - exploring different foods and flavours.

Travel - going to different parts of the world but also discovering New Zealand.

Rugby - watching anyway; living the highs and lows of supporting Wellington, the Hurricanes and the All Blacks!
